Ahhhhh man, finishing this page was like pulling teeth!! But it’s done! 9 more pages until the end of the chapter – I’m pretty excited! <3

Conventions are OVER for the year, yessss!! And with Chapter 8 complete in a couple weeks, I can compile Volume 2 of Macchina (chapters 6 through 8) for debut most likely around TCAF. Volume 1 was first released in 2009, so it’s kind of a big deal for me to finally get another Macchina book out! Also, I’m going back to traditional inking with Chapter 9. I’ve learned a lot working on Kindling these past few months, and I want to put that knowledge to use with Macchina! <3

Also, need to relearn to draw my characters – my style has been evolving since chapter 7 ended, so I’ve got to get used to them again before picking up Chapter 9 so it remains consistent (something I’ve had a hard time with, since it’s taken me so long to draw a chapter).

Yeah! Book 2, can't wait. :3 It's cool that you've gotten to do so much with Kindling. Like you said, you get to move on to Macchina again and use those skills. FUN!

Thanks! OH MAN I am so excited to draw Chapter 9 traditionally! I've gotten so much better and faster with traditional work, but it would be too jarring to switch 8 pages before the end of the volume, haha!! XDDDDD

I'm not sure which is more amusing; everyone forgetting the hole in the ship or Terigan next to a farting unicorn! :) I look forward to getting Volume 2 when it's out. I keep Volume 1 on the shelf for frequent reading.

<3 I'm pretty excited to put it together! Volume 1 was originally released in 2009 - it's been a while since I put out a new volume! :O

And yeah, this kinda stuff happens all the time on the Reinheit - stuff falls off, things explode, etc.
